Leah Zaas, LMSW (she, her, hers) is a fully licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her career has included roles in behavioral health, primary care, and community services, where she provided psychosocial evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions.
Leah has extensive clinical experience working with youth, adolescents and adults across a range of settings. She specializes in addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions (such as school-to-graduation, career changes, pregnancy, and parenthood), and trauma. She is passionate about supporting her clients through these pivotal moments and helping them achieve their therapeutic goals.
Leah employs an integrative, evidence-based approach in therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. Her practice includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support clients in processing trauma.
Leah is committed to creating a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. She values meeting clients where they are to foster growth, resilience, and healing.
